    Video from a Military Working Dog demonstration held at Petersburg National Battlefield Park in Virginia on February 7, 2015. It was on the 150th Anniversary of the 3rd day of the Battle of Hatcher's Run that took place from February 5-7, 1865. A dog mascot of the 11th Pennsylvania Veteran Volunteer Infantry Regiment named Sallie was killed at the battle. The military working dogs were from Fort Lee, Virginia.

This was the 152nd Anniversary of the battle (September 7, 1862). Near the end of this part of the talk is a cannon blast from the area of the visitor center.

    Video on August 31, 2014, of a live mortar firing demonstration at Fort Delaware, Delaware. Fort Delaware was an active fort up until just after World War II, but during the Civil War it was also a prisoner of war camp for Confederate prisoners.
